Dr. Okumura has been awarded the FY2021 Technical Committee Encouragement Award of the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan, for the research on “High-resolution X-ray spectroscopy of muon atoms utilizng a superconducting transition-edge microcalorimeter.”
