Muonic atom experiment with TES @ J-PARC
High-resolution muonic atom X-ray spectroscopy was performed using a superconducting X-ray detector (TES) at the J-PARC MLF Muon Science Experiment Facility ( 2019A0083 experiment), from April 19 to 23, 2019. The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of quantum electrodynamics (QED) under extremely high electric field conditions by high-precision X-ray spectroscopy of highly-charged muon atoms/ions isolated in vacuum.
